Kinesiology

Systematic Kinesiology (pronounced kin-easy-ology) is a holistic system of natural health care that uses muscle testing to communicate directly with the body. It finds the cause of any imbalance, whether it is physical, emotional, chemical or energetical, by testing the ability of various muscles to resist gentle pressure.

Muscle testing is a powerful feedback mechanism, which allows the kinesiologist to assess a person’s response to any stimulus. This feedback is used to determine what the priority stresses are and the best way to address them.

A fundamental concept of Kinesiology is the Triad of Health, comprising structural health, emotional health and chemical health. If there is an imbalance in one area, it will affect the other two and this has an impact on a person’s overall energy and state of health.

Kinesiology applies a wide range of gentle yet powerful techniques. These restore balance to create and sustain health and well-being. Kinesiology also integrates other therapies and healing modalities, including Bach Flower Remedies, Nutritional Therapy, Crystals and Homeopathy.

Due to the history of Kinesiology it largely draws on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the meridian energy pathways. Each muscle is related to an organ and a meridian. Together the muscle, organ and meridian form a circuit which can be accessed through testing the muscle and the related emotional and nutritional support can be provided.

Kinesiology is renowned for being able to uncover and provide support for the underlying causes of health problems that are difficult to find by any other means.
